When Korea was ruled by the Japanese in the year1920, Hae-chul, a leader in the Korean Independence Army, and his subordinates carried out an operation to send monies to the Korean Provisional Government in Shanghai. During the course of the operation, Hae-chul is brought back together with Jang-ha, a young squad commander whose job it is to protect Samdunja. They work together to surround the Japanese soldiers at Samdunja, where they are soundly defeated. They are currently being pursued by Japanese troops, and Hae-chul has discovered that Jang-job ha's is not yet complete. He still has to do a mission that is very important but also quite perilous.
