Daniel Lugo, manager of the Sun Gym at 1990s Miami, decides that there is only one approach to attain his version of their American dream: extortion. He recruits Adrian and muscle men Paul as accomplices to achieve his goal. After several efforts, they abduct affluent businessman Victor Kershaw and convince him to sign them of his assets. But when Kershaw makes it out alive, police are reluctant to trust his narrative.
