After her parents were killed in a car accident, Oriko Seki, then 12 years old, was forced to move in with her grandmother in the onsen ryokan known as "Haru no Ya." Because of all of the challenges she faced, including the presence of the ghost known as "Uribou," she ultimately decided to pursue a career as a young female innkeeper. She didn't enjoy the training at first, but as she got closer to achieving her title, she started to feel more respect for herself and began to train more seriously. As a result, the youthful warrior Oriko's development gets under way.
